We made crumble.

Up and at em!

It was all going so well this morning, right up until Kobe left his reading folder in the car causing a nice meltdown and refusing to go into class. This was a great example to all the little 3yr olds on their second week of school, poor little new comers didn’t know what was going on. I on the other hand had to go back to the car in the pouring rain to grab his reading folder…things we do for kid eh.

So this happened too…

700 followers on Instagram happened today, I took a screenshot.

700 followers, really surprised by this but chuffed too.

We ran some errands today, oh and as sad as this is, we went to Leekes and tried out some sofa’s – TOGETHER!! Me, my husband and Theo! This is the first thing we have done (other than hospital appointments) in 4 months.

Having a sit on a leather recliner sofa. Theo climbing all over us both.

We won’t be buying this πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²

Anyway, it was really nice to just get out even with him still struggling.

Once the afternoon school run was done we did some baking.

Vibrant mix of really ripe blackberries and just ready ones.

Golden topped crumble with blackberry juice oozing over the side of the baking dish

Crumble served up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The easiest recipe ever! I adapted it as we don’t like cinnamon too much so I didnt add it but it was lovely. Teen even said it was the best dessert she’s ever had at home. The link is below for the recipe.

Once stuffed and cleaned up we sat and had family time.

How’s your rainy Monday been?
